Malika Abbas

Malika Abbas is a visual artist from Karachi, Pakistan. She trained and graduated in miniature painting and a minor in photography and uses various artistic mediums in her work. Her photography and miniature work, sometimes combined in pieces, is inspired by her personal life, the traumatic loss of her mother and the intense experience of becoming a mother herself. Malika was a photojournalist and archivist for the While Star pvt ltd agency, a subsidiary of the DAWN Media Group.
