Shanila Dadabhoy

Shanila Dadabhoy is a Karachi-based artist who, in addition to having a 15-year experience in calligraphy and illumination, has a three-year experience in textile designing. Her inspiration comes from her mother and grandmother who had a distinguished aesthetic in textiles. Dadabhoy’s most fulfilling experience as an artist began when she started experimenting with Arabic illumination and calligraphy under the guidance of Ustad Mohammad Kashif.
