Let There Be Night

VM Art Gallery is pleased to present Let There Be Night, a group show featuring works by Amber Arifeen, Anushka Rustomji, Bibi Hajra, Khadijah Rehman, Khadija S. Akhtar, Mohsin Shafi, and Noreen Ali.

This exhibition surveys each artist's exploration of the night. The night covers the day but brings to light worlds, old and new, natural and supernatural. With its veil, it unveils the shadows, forms of existence, tales and secrets, and memories clandestine. The night holds within it many stories and nods to the mystics.
