A VM Art Gallery Residency
VM Art Gallery is pleased to announce a two-week residency programme in May 2024 for an artist to create an on-site installation that encapsulates the artist’s definition of love and hope. This initiative aims to counter the prevailing negativity in the world by serving as a transformative experience for the audience, fostering feelings of love and hope.
Who can Apply?
Our residency programme is open to artists and creative practitioners who are based in Karachi who are passionate about creating art that celebrates the essence of love. Artists are encouraged to utilize various mediums and forms of artistic expression to convey their interpretation of love and hope. Applicants must be 18+.
Support Offered:
As part of this art residency, VM Art Gallery will cover material costs up to Rs. 50,000 and grant full access to our facilities and ground staff. The selected artist will receive an artist fee of Rs. 10,000 to further support their creative journey.
