Ali Reza Dossal

Ali Reza Dossal is a Karachi-based architect and design professional who heads The Tree House Design Lab in Karachi along with his wife and partner. Dossal’s artistic and technical approach to small scale interventions and construction techniques was recognized by the School of Architecture and HUMlab (Department of Humanities, Umea University) where he was invited to teach, collaborate and create interactive installations. He was the recipient of the 2014 Global Swede Award for excellence in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship. Dossal remained the department head and the coordinator at the department of architecture at The University of Karachi for two academic years from 2020 to 2021. He is an avid illustrator and enjoys working with interactive spatial environments.
