Anna Molka Ahmed

Anna Molka Ahmed is one of the pioneers of fine arts in the country. She studied art at St. Martin School of Arts and the Royal Academy of Art in London. Ahmed’s career spanned over 55 years, during which she not only taught but later on headed the Fine Arts Department at the University of the Punjab until 1978. For her contributions to the field of visual arts, Ahmed was awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, Pride of Performance and Khudeja Tul Kubra Medal.
