Raheela Abro

Raheela Abro is a Karachi-based artist who has participated in more than 50 group exhibitions at galleries in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore as well as in Dubai and Iran. Abro received her bachelors in fine arts from the University of Karachi in 2009. She completed her MA in Art Education from the Beaconhouse National University, Lahore in 2017 and is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program. Along with her art practice, she also maintains a teaching practice and has been teaching at the Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture, Karachi School of Art, the Center of Excellence in Art & Design, and Sindh Madressatul Islam University. She is currently a lecturer at the Department of Visual Studies at the University of Karachi.
