Syed Muhammad Raza

S.M. Raza is a Karachi-based visual artist, muralist and educator. His work has been featured in local and international art exhibitions. He received a BFA from the University of Karachi in 2009. Raza was part of an artists’ residency at the Gyeonggi Creation Center, South Korea in 2012 and Vasl Artists’ residency, Lahore in 2011. His work has been the subject of a number of solo exhibitions, such as ‘Pipe Dream’ at the Art Chowk Gallery in 2013, and ‘Lucid Dreams’ at the Canvas Gallery Karachi in 2016. He has been a senior concept artist at Waadi Animations and on other art projects.
