Zahabia Khozema

Zahabia Khozema is a Karachi-based artist and curator with a passion for research-based practices that focus on politics and policymaking. Her work highlights the politics of the marginalized, drawing on her involvement in on-ground organizing. Khozema holds a BA in Mass Communication from the University of Karachi and a BFA from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, where she received the Research Paper Award in 2020 for her final research paper. She was a co-curator of the House of Kal Artist Residency Program and currently works as a program coordinator and assistant curator at the VM Art Gallery in Karachi and is an adjunct faculty member at the Visual Studies Department, University of Karachi.
