This work is based on the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) called Hadith of Jibreel where angel Jibreel appeared in human form and spoke with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions about levels of faith and the signs of the end of times. This work also includes patterns from the resting place of three saints who spread Islam in Lahore: Syed Muhammad Ishaq, Mian Mir and Ali Hajveri.

Through their unique explorations, perspectives and visual vocabularies, Saba Qureshi and Alefiya Abbas delve into profound spiritual dimensions of the Islamic faith and remembrance of the divine. Their work also serves as a poignant call for compassion, unity, peace, love, and faith during these challenging times, with a dedicated focus on expressing solidarity with the people of Palestine.

The show’s opening will take place on Monday, March 18th 2024, from 3pm to 5pm and will continue till Wednesday, April 10th 2024 with gallery timings from 11am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
