Saba Qureshi “Hadith e Jibreel” Fresco pigments an Saba Qureshi “Hadith e Jibreel” Fresco pigments and pen on canvas 39h x 36w This work is based on the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) called Hadith of Jibreel where angel Jibreel appeared in human form and spoke with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions about levels of faith and the signs of the end of times. This work also includes patterns from the resting place of three saints who spread Islam in Lahore: Syed Muhammad Ishaq, Mian Mir and Ali Hajveri.
