Lahore Junction

VM Art Gallery is pleased to present "Lahore Junction", a group exhibition of 25 artists coming from different cities of Pakistan and working in diverse mediums consisting of Miniature painting, Painting, Site specific installations, Sculptural works, Videos and Drawings. All of the artist are NCA, MA (hons) in visual arts graduates.

The main theme of the show is to bring forward the transitions in art practice of selected artists, largely comprising the graduates from the batches of 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 from the MA Visual Arts Program at NCA. One of the reasons was to highlight the changes brought about in the thought process and art practice through a period of time after doing the Masters. The exhibition will have 2 - 4 works from each artist, 01 thesis (During the MA (hons) program at NCA), and other works in transition till now.
